2. Products and Artisanal Manufacturing
Our products are handcrafted in small batches. Slight variations in colour, shape, texture or appearance may occur from one batch to another. These variations are inherent to our manufacturing process and do not affect the essential characteristics of the product.
We do our best to present our products accurately through descriptions, photographs and ingredient information. However, colours may appear differently depending on the screen being used.
We encourage you to read product descriptions, ingredient lists and usage precautions before placing an order. If you have any questions about a product, please contact us before purchasing.
3. Prices and Taxes
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise indicated. Applicable taxes and any additional charges are displayed before you confirm your order.
Shipping fees are listed in our “Shipping, Returns and Gift Cards” section.
We strive to ensure that all information in our online store is accurate. If a significant error concerning a price or product description is identified, we will contact you to determine the appropriate course of action in accordance with the law.
4. Orders and Payments
You are responsible for checking the selected items, quantities, shipping address and contact information before confirming your order.
Orders are subject to product availability and payment confirmation. An order confirmation email will be sent after your purchase.
If an item becomes unavailable, we will contact you to agree on an appropriate solution, such as a replacement with your consent or a refund for the unavailable item.
Payments are processed using the payment methods offered at checkout. Full payment card details are handled by the relevant payment providers and are not stored directly by Base Botanique.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Once your order has been placed and payment confirmed, please allow 7 business days for order preparation and shipment.
Delivery times vary depending on the destination and carrier. Delivery is generally faster to locations near our studio and may take longer for more distant destinations.
You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link when tracking is available.
Shipping fees are as follows:
- Québec: $11.50
- Rest of Canada: $16.50
- Free shipping on orders of $85 or more before taxes, across Canada.
Delivery times after shipment vary depending on the carrier and destination. If a delivery timeframe is provided for your order, we will honour it, subject to any rights provided by law.
6. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
Due to the nature of our products, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.
This policy does not limit any rights provided by law, including applicable remedies when a product is defective or does not match its description or your order.
If you receive a damaged item or a product that does not match your order, please email us at basebotanique@gmail.comwith your order number and, if possible, photos of the product and its packaging.
We will review the situation and let you know what options are available. Shipping fees are not refundable for voluntary returns made for personal preference, subject to any rights provided by law.
7. Gift Cards
Base Botanique gift cards do not expire.
Their balance cannot be exchanged for cash, except where otherwise required by law. The terms of use and balance-checking instructions are those provided with the gift card.
8. Product Use
Base Botanique products are intended for the uses specified in their descriptions and on their labels.
We recommend following all usage instructions and precautions, reviewing the ingredient list and discontinuing use if an adverse reaction occurs.
Information published on our website is provided for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for advice from a healthcare professional. If you have specific concerns about an ingredient or the use of a product, we encourage you to seek advice from a qualified professional.
9. Intellectual Property
The text, photographs, graphic elements, logos and other content published on our website belong to Base Botanique or are used with permission.
Reproducing, distributing or using this content for commercial purposes without prior authorization is prohibited, subject to exceptions provided by law.

You agree to use our website lawfully and not to attempt to disrupt its operation, gain unauthorized access to its systems or use its content for fraudulent purposes.
We may update website content, product descriptions and these Terms and Conditions as needed. Changes will be published on this page along with an updated revision date.
Changes will not remove rights applicable to an order that has already been concluded.
